DESCRIPTION:CAÑIZARES \nGuitarist\, Musician and Composer. \nCañizares is the first and only flamenco guitarist invited by the Berlin Philharmonic with which he performed the Aranjuez Concert under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle at the Teatro Real in Madrid. He has collaborated with the world’s leading orchestras. \nWinner of the prestigious National Guitar Award\, Music Award\, and Flamenco Hoy\, Cañizares maintained a close relationship with Paco de Lucía for 10 years\, as well as with great artists such as Enrique Morente\, Camarón de la Isla\, Serrat\, Alejandro Sanz\, John Paul Jones\, Peter Gabriel and Mauricio Sotelo among others. \nAs a composer\, he has composed works for the National Ballet of Spain and soundtracks for films\, in 2016 he has premiered his Concert “Al-Andalus” in memory of Paco de Lucía commissioned by the National Orchestra of Spain. He has collaborated on over 100 albums and as a solo artist he has released 14 of his own. \n\n  \nJUAN CARLOS GÓMEZ (Madrid\, 1973) \nGuitarist and composer. \nHe offers his first concert at the age of sixteen. Awarded at the National Flamenco Guitar Contest of l’Hospitalet\, the Concours Flamenco Guitare\, Chant et Dance de Nimes\, the National Festival of Cante de las Minas\, by the Circle of Fine Arts of Madrid. \nHe has been part of the Cañizares Flamenco Quartet and Cañizares Flamenco Dúo since 2008. \n
