Nicola Campogrande is considered one of the most important Italian composers. In 2017\, his music was published exclusively by Breitkopt & Hartel. After graduating from the Conservatories of Milan and Paris\, he began to discover a personal and original style\, combined traditions passed and presented in a new and fascinating journey. Interpretation of our scores\, musicians like Gauther Capuçon\, Riccardo Chailly\, Lilya Zilberstein\, Mario Brunello\, Roberto Abbado\, Josep Vicent\, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra\, The Orchester: .National d’Ile-de-France\, ADDA SIMFONICA ALICANTE and the Fine Arts Quartet. Quartetto del Teatro alla Scala\, he appreciated the frescura and the vitality of his music\, as well as his ability to touch the heart of the eyes. String Quartet\nMeta4\, formed in 2001\, is one of the most internationally successful Finnish string quartets. In 2004 it won the first prize in the International Shostakovich Quartet Competition in Moscow and was also awarded a special prize for best Shostakovich interpretation. The quartet enjoyed continued \nsuccess in 2007\, when it won the first prize in the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna. Later that year the Finnish Minister of Culture awarded Meta4 with the annual Finland Prize in recognition of an international breakthrough. Meta4 was selected as a BBC New Generation Artist for 2008–2010 and in 2013 Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation awarded the quartet with a special prize in recognition of its work. \nMeta4 performs regularly in key music capitals and concert halls around the world including Wiener Konzerthaus\, Wigmore Hall and King’s Place in London\, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid\, Cité de la Musique in Paris and Stockholms Konserthus\, and has also toured in Australia. In Finland\, the quartet served as the artistic director of the Oulunsalo Soi music festival from 2008 to 2011 and as the resident quartet of the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival from 2008 to 2017. More recently\, Meta4 served as the principal guest of the Jyväskylä Symphony Orchestra during the 2022–2024 seasons. The quartet studied at the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) under Hatto Beyerle and Johannes Meissl. \nThe quartet is also an active recording artist. Meta4 has released three recordings on Hänssler Classics: Haydn’s String Quartets Op. 55. 1–3 (2009)\, which received the prestigious Echo Klassik Award in 2010; Shostakovich’s String Quartets 3\, 4 & 7 (2012)\, awarded both the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE’s Record of the Year and the Emma Prize (the Finnish Grammy) for Classical Album of the Year; and Bartók’s String Quartets 1 & 5 (2014). \nIn addition\, the quartet has released an album of Kaija Saariaho’s chamber music works on Ondine (2013) and an LP featuring Sibelius’s String Quartet “Voces Intimae” on Berliner Meister Schallplatten (2013). A 2019 ECM Records release featured the Brahms Clarinet Quintet and Gérard Pesson’s Nebenstück\, performed together with clarinetist Reto Bieri. Their most recent recordings on the BIS label include Octets (March 2020)\, a collaboration with the Gringolts Quartet featuring compositions by Felix Mendelssohn and George Enescu\, and Oceano (October 2021)\, which presents chamber music by Sebastian Fagerlund. The latest release\, Tales from Norway—featuring works by Krishna Nagarajan—was issued in spring 2022 on Challenge Classics and received an Emma Award nomination for Classical Album of the Year. \nThe members of Meta4 play distinguished instruments\, which include a Stradivarius\, kindly on loan from the Finnish Cultural Foundation\, a Carlo Bergonzi violin\, kindly on loan from Signe and Ane Gyllenberg’s Foundation and a cello made by Lorenzo Storioni in Cremona in 1780. \nLos miembros de Meta4 tocan instrumentos de gran prestigio\, entre ellos un Stradivarius cedido amablemente por la Fundación Cultural Finlandesa\, un violín Carlo Bergonzi prestado por la Fundación Signe y Ane Gyllenberg y un violonchelo de Lorenzo Storioni fabricado en Cremona en 1780.
