Violin\nViolinist Leticia Moreno has established herself as one of the most charismatic and versatile performers of her generation\, praised for her virtuosity\, expressive power\, and a stage presence that captivates both audiences and critics. \nShe has performed under the batons of conductors such as Zubin Mehta\, Gustavo Dudamel\, Esa-Pekka Salonen\, Paavo Järvi\, Yuri Temirkanov\, and Andrés Orozco-Estrada\, with prestigious orchestras like the Wiener Symphoniker\, Philharmonia Orchestra\, Mahler Chamber Orchestra\, Los Angeles Philharmonic\, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra\, NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo\, and Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra\, as well as being a regular guest with Spain’s leading orchestras. \nIn recent seasons\, she has debuted with the Helsinki Philharmonic and Beijing’s NCPA Orchestra under Vladimir Ashkenazy. In the Americas\, she premiered Jimmy López Bellido’s Aurora concerto with the Houston Symphony\, a work she also performed in Peru\, strengthening ties with her roots. \nThe 2024/25 season will include her debut with the Geneva Camerata and returns to venues such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra\, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker\, and Tenerife Symphony Orchestra. She will also undertake a European tour with her innovative chamber music project Bach in the Jungle\, connecting Bach’s universe with South American classical traditions. \nPassionate about chamber music\, she has collaborated with artists like Sol Gabetta\, Kirill Gerstein\, Mario Brunello\, and Maxim Rysanov. Her discography\, released by Deutsche Grammophon\, includes acclaimed albums such as Piazzolla\, Spanish Landscapes\, and Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1\, recorded with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and Temirkanov. \nTrained with great masters like Zakhar Bron\, Maxim Vengerov\, and Mstislav Rostropovich\, she has been awarded the 2012 Princess of Girona Arts and Letters Prize and numerous accolades in international competitions such as Szeryng\, Sarasate\, and Kreisler. She was also distinguished with a scholarship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation\, becoming the youngest artist to receive it. \nLeticia Moreno plays a 1762 Nicola Gagliano violin and is represented worldwide by HarrisonParrott.
