DESCRIPTION:Marco Mezquida\, piano and compositions\nMartin Meléndez\, cello\nAleix Tobias\, drums and percussion \nPianist Marco Mezquida presents Tàctil (2026) together with his regular trio\, completed by Martín Meléndez (cello) and Aleix Tobias (percussion). After years of shared artistic work\, the group has developed its own language based on deep listening and constant interaction. \nTheir music flows naturally between composition and improvisation\, combining lyricism\, rhythmic drive\, and great timbral richness. In Tàctil\, the trio explores the physical dimension of sound—gesture\, vibration\, contact—as the axis of a proposal that feels intimate and immersive. \nThe result is an intense and organic live performance in which moments of delicacy and expansive energy coexist\, inviting the listener into a deeply sensory musical experience.\nThrough this project\, the trio reaffirms a singular voice within today’s European scene\, where echoes of jazz\, classical music\, and Mediterranean tradition converge\, always in the service of a free and deeply communicative expression.
