Founded in 1975 by maestro José Antonio Abreu\, this initiative seeks to transform the lives of children and youth through collective music practice. \nThe orchestra has been a breeding ground for prominent musicians and conductors\, such as Gustavo Dudamel\, who began his career in El Sistema and is now internationally renowned. The ensemble has participated in international tours\, performing at world-renowned venues and collaborating with prestigious conductors and soloists. \nThe repertoire of the National Youth Orchestra of Venezuela spans from classical works to contemporary compositions\, including pieces by Venezuelan composers\, reflecting its commitment to promoting the country’s musical culture. The orchestra has been recognized for its artistic excellence and social impact\, receiving international awards such as the Prince of Asturias Arts Prize and the UNESCO International Music Prize. \n\nGUSTAVO DUDAMEL. Conductor\nGustavo Dudamel is committed to creating a better world through music. His unwavering belief that art has the power to inspire and transform lives has driven his dedication to education and access for underserved communities\, expanding the impact of classical music to new audiences. His rise from humble beginnings in Venezuela to a career filled with unparalleled artistic and social achievements is a testament to the idea that culture can give meaning to an individual’s life and bring greater harmony to the world. He currently serves as music and artistic director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela\, and in 2026\, he will assume the role of music and artistic director of the New York Philharmonic\, continuing a legacy that includes Mahler\, Toscanini\, and Bernstein. In 2025\, Dudamel will celebrate the 50th anniversary of El Sistema\, honoring the visionary global educational program of José Antonio Abreu and recognizing the vital importance of arts education. \nHe is a genuine cultural phenomenon. He was the youngest conductor to lead the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert. He has performed at global events and collaborated with pop music icons. He conducted the adaptation of West Side Story by Spielberg and the opening and closing credits of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. His extensive discography has earned seven Grammy Awards and nine additional nominations. \nDudamel has been a passionate advocate for music education and social integration through art\, sharing his own transformative experience in Venezuela’s El Sistema as an example of how music can provide purpose and meaning to a young person and help them overcome challenging circumstances. In 2007\, Dudamel and the LA Phil founded YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles). In 2012\, he launched the Dudamel Foundation—co-chaired with his wife\, actress and director María Valverde—with the goal of expanding “access to music and the arts by providing tools and opportunities for young people to shape their creative futures.” The Dudamel Foundation organized its Encuentros initiative worldwide\, from Spain to the Hollywood Bowl\, to explore cultural unity and celebrate harmony\, equality\, dignity\, beauty\, and respect through music.

SUMMARY:JORGE PARDO trío
DESCRIPTION:Jorge Pardo\, flute and saxophone\nMelón Jiménez\, guitar\nBandolero\, percussion \nMy Trio\, always made up of Queens\, Kings\, and Aces of Flamenco/Jazz\, carries with it the knowledge of the very essence of music itself: rhythmic mastery\, the pleasure of improvisation\, knowing how to serve music as a whole\, not only as individuality but as collectivity too\, also involving the audience\, who are not passive observers\, but become\, through this ceremony\, accomplices in whatever happens at each concert… \nSoleares\, Seguiriyas\, Tangos\, Tarantos\, Bulerías\, and the other flamenco palos are treated with respect for their essence and with the strictest knowledge of flamenco roots\, but at the same time with the freedom every artist must take in order to make that message their own\, personal\, original\, and contemporary.\nIn short\, a 100% “Flamenco-jazz” experience\, though not attached to the usual clichés.

SUMMARY:MARCO MEZQUIDA “Táctil”
DESCRIPTION:Marco Mezquida\, piano and compositions\nMartin Meléndez\, cello\nAleix Tobias\, drums and percussion \nPianist Marco Mezquida presents Tàctil (2026) together with his regular trio\, completed by Martín Meléndez (cello) and Aleix Tobias (percussion). After years of shared artistic work\, the group has developed its own language based on deep listening and constant interaction. \nTheir music flows naturally between composition and improvisation\, combining lyricism\, rhythmic drive\, and great timbral richness. In Tàctil\, the trio explores the physical dimension of sound—gesture\, vibration\, contact—as the axis of a proposal that feels intimate and immersive. \nThe result is an intense and organic live performance in which moments of delicacy and expansive energy coexist\, inviting the listener into a deeply sensory musical experience.\nThrough this project\, the trio reaffirms a singular voice within today’s European scene\, where echoes of jazz\, classical music\, and Mediterranean tradition converge\, always in the service of a free and deeply communicative expression.

SUMMARY:DAVID PASTOR All Stars “Legacy of blue”
DESCRIPTION:Feat. Adrian Cunningham \nDavid Pastor\, trumpet\nAdrian Cunningham\, tenor saxophone\nGabriel Amargant\, alto saxophone\nFrancesc Capella\, piano\nTom Warburton\, double bass\nAnton Jarl\, drums \nIn Legacy of Blue\, David Pastor brings together an exceptional All Stars line-up to revisit the sonic universe that changed the history of jazz forever. Inspired by the legacy of Kind of Blue and by the revolutionary vision of Miles Davis and John Coltrane\, the project proposes a journey through the modal elegance\, lyrical depth\, and expressive freedom that defined an unrepeatable era. Together with Adrian Cunningham on tenor saxophone\, Gabriel Amargant on alto saxophone\, Francesc Capella on piano\, Tom Warburton on double bass\, and Anton Jarl on drums\, David Pastor leads a first-rate sextet that expands the imagination of Kind of Blue toward other masterpieces by Miles and Coltrane. From the hypnotic atmosphere of So What to the suspended beauty of Flamenco Sketches\, Legacy of Blue becomes a living celebration of the blue sound: sophistication\, risk\, and emotion in the service of music that continues to set the pulse of contemporary jazz.

SUMMARY:CARLES BENAVENT trío
DESCRIPTION:Carles Benavent\, bass\nRoger Mas\, vocals\nToni Pagès\, drums\, percussion \nThe convergence of these three musicians gives rise to a singular proposal in which song\, jazz\, and Mediterranean roots converse naturally. Carles Benavent\, a key figure in the renewal of bass in flamenco and jazz; Roger Mas\, one of the most distinctive voices in singer-songwriter music; and Toni Pagès\, a drummer of great sensitivity and versatility\, create an intimate sonic space that is at the same time open to exploration. \nThe repertoire moves between original compositions and reinterpretations\, in a stripped-down format that emphasizes expressiveness\, nuance\, and interaction. The voice is integrated as one more instrument within the trio\, while bass and percussion weave an accompaniment rich in texture and pulse. \nThe result is a concert of great poetic depth\, where tradition and modernity meet in a direct\, elegant\, and deeply communicative language.

SUMMARY:NIÑO JOSELE “Paz”
DESCRIPTION:A Tribute to Bill Evans \nNiño Josele\, flamenco guitar\nDani Noel\, double bass\nDaniel García Bruno\, drums\nGuest artist: Raynald Colom\, trumpet \nTwenty years after its release\, Paz returns to the stage as a reinterpretation of Bill Evans’s musical universe through Niño Josele’s perspective. In this project\, flamenco guitar assumes the role of the piano\, translating its harmonic richness into a language of its own. \nConceived as a jazz project rather than a fusion project\, the trio creates an intimate and open sonic space in which improvisation and interaction are essential. The repertoire combines pieces from the original album with new readings\, in a balance between structure and freedom. \nThe result is a delicate and deeply expressive proposal that reveals music’s ability to build bridges between traditions from a personal and contemporary voice. \nMore than a reinterpretation\, Paz functions as a shift in perspective: Evans’s language is not transferred\, but transformed. The guitar does not imitate the piano\, but reimagines it through its own sonic material\, generating a subtle tension between memory and present that defines the character of the concert.

SUMMARY:ZENET “La voz y las manos”
DESCRIPTION:Lila Horovitz\, bass\nAaron Pozo\, saxophone\nRaúl Kiokio\, guitar \nZenet returns to the stage with a concert in which he will present live his new work\, The Voice and the Hands\, his most intimate album since Los mares de China\, centered on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped his life. After a career in which he has shown himself to be a true thief of genres\, suggesting tangos\, hinting at bossas\, flirting with bolero or chanson\, in this new work he fully immerses himself in each of them. He does not merely reference them: he inhabits them. Through bolero\, tango\, bossa nova\, and folk\, a pure and sincere sound resonates with real instruments and voices at the forefront\, in a proposal free of digital artifice. This new album is born from a tribute to José Taboada\, his absent yet ever-present musical companion on this journey\, with stops in memories\, roots\, and handcrafted sound. An album that is not only heard\, but felt. It is not just a concert: it is a sonic journey that embraces the past and brings it into the present\, with Zenet as its protagonist\, laying himself bare and reaching the stage in his fullest expression.
