ADDA cancels its January programming due to new restrictions caused by the incidence of COVID-19

The Auditorium of the Diputación de Alicante, ADDA, has been a pioneer in carrying out activities, celebrating, among others, the first symphonic concert in Spain, always with the greatest safety for its audience, being therefore recognized as the first auditorium of the peninsula to receive the Safe Tourism Certificate and the Q for Tourism Quality in the Management of Scenic Spaces and Professional Events. Now, and given the new restrictions by the competent authorities due to the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in the Valencian Community, we believe that it is time to exercise a collective responsibility action, foremost thinking about the safety of our public and of our teams and visitors. For all these reasons, on-site activity will be suspended in the auditorium for the rest of the month of January, hoping for a prompt improvement in the current situation and thus being able to re-establish the activity with the greatest possible safety.Affected concerts:

CULTURE AREA OF THE COUNCIL OF ALICANTEANNOUNCEMENT of December 5, 2020, from the Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, by which new additional measures are agreed in the Valencian Community, as a result of the health crisis situation caused by Covid-19.
1.2. For the purposes of this point, they will not be considered as events and activities, those cultural events included in the ordinary, habitual programming of the premises and cultural and artistic establishments such as theaters, cinemas, music auditoriums, cultural centers, concert halls, exhibition halls, conference rooms and other spaces of a similar nature whose ordinary activity is cultural and which have sufficient protocols for the development of their activity, as well as the holding of selective tests or examinations carried out by official entities or educational centers.
21. Measures relating to cinemas, summer cinemas, drive-ins, theaters, amphitheaters, auditoriums, multipurpose halls, performing arts halls, circuses.
21.1. In the establishments ordered by this point, the maximum capacity is 50%, with the public seated. And consumption is not allowed.
21.6. The exchange of objects with the public is not allowed.
21.7. The organization must have a Covid-19 contingency plan.
1.5. Cultural events.
The traditional Christmas activities that are held in cinemas, theaters, auditoriums, circus tents or similar will be carried out respecting the capacity provided for in this resolution, in point 21 of the first resolution of this announcement, relative to “Measures related to cinemas, movie theaters summer, drive-ins, theaters, amphitheaters, auditoriums, multipurpose halls, performing arts halls, circuses ».
SPECIFICALLY ABOUT CONGRESSES:
First. To agree on the following additional measures by sector and others within the Valencian Community:
1. Measures on events or activities with concentration of people.
Holding of seminars, congresses, assemblies, conferences and other activities of these characteristics that are held in premises whose ordinary activity is to host this type of meeting, will not be considered events.
18. Measures relating to congress halls, conference or multipurpose rooms and other similar establishments and facilities, including fair facilities.
18.1. It is recommended to hold telematically all types of congresses, meetings, business meetings and conferences.
18.2. The carrying out of those that are organized in person, promoted by any entities of a public or private nature, will be executed without exceeding 50% of the capacity in each of the congress, conference or multipurpose halls, and other similar establishments and facilities, including those of the Valencian Community fair institutions.
Restaurant services are not authorized in this type of event.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
Taking into account the current regulations established by the health authorities for the prevention of COVID-19, the public attending any of ADDA’s activities is informed that the use of the mask is mandatory at all times in all halls and that the 1.5m minimum interpersonal distance must be kept between people who do not live together.
Taking the foregoing into consideration, we inform that the halls will not exceed 75% of their capacity.
Likewise, we inform the public of the need to carry out both entry and exit to the performances in a responsible manner, always maintaining interpersonal distance. To this end, the opening of doors will be carried out sufficiently in advance to assure a proper entry.
