Academists Project Banco Sabadell Foundation
ADDA•SIMFÒNICA ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM • BANC SABADELL FOUNDATION
The scholarship program of ADDA·Simfònica Academy in collaboration with Banc Sabadell Foundation opens a wide range of possibilities for young musicians in the path of becoming professional musicians, offering them to experience a unique and decisive training for their future careers .
It is conceived as a practicum linked to the Orchestra’s activity, applying the concept “learning by doing”, following the advices of the members of the orchestra, guest conductors and the chief conductor.
What does it take to be a good orchestral musician?
The academists will learn the particular style and sound of the orchestra, they will learn what it means to be a complete musician, who not only work intensively on their own development, but also learn to widen their experience and meet the world with a thirst for knowledge and open eyes.
During these weeks of experience, the academists will work together with the orchestra’s members and conductors, in order to advance in their interpretive training and the discipline required in a professional symphony orchestra.
This program is a firm commitment to exponentially revert back to Alicante’s society, its youth, music lovers and ADDA·Simfònica’s project under leadership of Josep Vicent and in collaboration with Banco Sabadell Foundation.
