Chano Domínguez – El Piano Jazz-flamenco

Chano Domínguez, pianist and flamenco jazz icon, is one of the finest artists in the genre. His collaborations with legends such as Paco de Lucía, Wynton Marsalis, and Herbie Hancock have left an indelible mark on the history of flamenco jazz. His internationally acclaimed talent has brought his music to prestigious orchestras and ensembles around the world.

In addition to his performing career, Chano Domínguez is a passionate educator who has shared his knowledge and experience through masterclasses, workshops, and artistic residencies. He has inspired new generations of musicians at institutions such as the Juilliard School in New York and the University of Washington.

In 2020, he was awarded the National Award for Current Music, granted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport, cementing his legacy as one of the great ambassadors of flamenco jazz.
